Hal Weaver uses Film to Explore Quaker Issues
in Beacon Hill Friends House Weed Lecture, April 13
Dr. Harold Weaver, Wellesley Meeting, will speak on
"Unbearable Truths"
at this year's Weed Memorial Lecture
at Beacon Hill Friends House.
Hal uses film and film clips in his ministries: The Black Film Project,
The China Film Project and the Quaker Film Project, to open dialog and
explore knotty issues. Many such issues face us today and we expect his
talk to challenge and inspire us.

Worship 10:30 am
Lunch: Noon
Hal's talk: 1:00 pm

The Weed Memorial Lecture is a free annual talk by a distinguished
member of the Society of Friends on a subject of interest to Friends in
New England. Ernest and Esther Weed were important to the House for many
years, in the role of Director and as volunteers.
