Dear Friends:  If you are in the Boston area and would like to hear  
two Cuban Friends speak about their lives and faith communities, stop  
by Friends Meeting at Cambridge this Tuesday!  See the official

The Cubans Are Coming! To Cambridge!

María Armenia Yi and Jorge Luis Peña, leaders of Cuba
Yearly Meeting and representatives to the FWCC Section of
the Americas, are coming for the Section meeting (if their
visas are approved) and will also visit among New England
Friends. María was the first woman Presiding Clerk of a
yearly meeting in Latin America. Jorge is a published poet.
Maria and Jorge have been actively involved with welcoming
New England Friends who visit Cuban Friends
through Puente de Amigos as part of our bridge of love.
Let's show them we know how to be hospitable, too! Bring
a dish to share at a potluck, and come ready to sing and pray
and celebrate after dinner. We look forward eagerly to this
rare opportunity to share worship and fellowship with Cuban
