Hey YAFs!
yearly meeting is gonna rule, i hope to see you all there! if possible, you
should bring a few things to make the week a little more festive. ministry
and oversight met yesterday and we discussed an idea that was first brought
up at yaf camp: an awesome way to spice up the traditional kidnapping of
senior young friends would be to flip it around and kidnap ALL young friends
EXCEPT the seniors, leaving them in the room alone and bewildered for a few
minutes before we invited them next door to the yaf lounge for a (ready for
this?) mocktail party! with pizza, of course. we all thought it would be
pretty funny, you know, lounge music and mood lighting and the like, maybe a
sultry blues singer swung over a piano. so if you can, bring your
best/corniest cocktail party outfit (a fake tuxedo shirt would work
perfectly!), and if you want to take part in the kidnapping aspect too,
bring a pair of stockings and maybe some black clothing, anything else that
seems kidnapper/burglar appropriate.


also, for enhancement of the fun, bring games (board, card, ball, chalk,
skip-it, etc.) and anything else you can think of that many people can
engaged in.
