Community Living at Beacon Hill Friends House
Rooms available starting in summer and fall!
Do you want a home that nourishes your heart and mind?
Do you want to share meals with friends?
Do you want to join others who want to live closer to their values?
Do you want to be in a place where spiritual seeking is welcome and encouraged?
We are a cooperative community of twenty adults, sponsored by the
Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). We are open to people of all
religious (or nonreligious) backgrounds.
We encourage diversity in our house. We welcome adults of all ages –
our current residents range from 20s to 60s! We do not discriminate
based on race, creed, age, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation,
gender identity, etc, and we welcome people of diverse backgrounds to
apply for residency in our home.
As a community we value the Quaker principles of social justice,
spirituality, peace, integrity, simplicity and the dignity of the
human person. We are an actively anti-racist community.
Life in the house means sharing chores and meals and actively
participating in the life of the community. Costs include housing,
food, provisions, internet and all other utilities and range from $795
-$875/month.
